Through the Eyes of the Nosey Neighbour

by Rachael Herman

Nosiness: it happens to the best of us (and the worst, but we won’t go into that). The above photograph was taken during my second year at uni, whilst exploring the notion of ‘boundaries’. I particularly took to the idea of how people express themselves in their own space, ie. in a garden. This I then developed through looking at how the rest of the world is able to only catch a glimpse of what is contained in this personal space, which consequently evokes an increasing curiosity in the viewer.

A silly little project really.
